Selah is a 7 year old pleasant child who loves to read and play with her friends. She and her twin sister Sarah live with her mom and her grandparents.  She does not know her father as he left before her and her twin were born.  Her mom is very young and does what she can to provide for the girls and her aging parents.  Selah really wants to be in school and knows that her mom cannot afford the school fees.  She shows up everyday willing to work hard everyday knowing she has to rely on the support of others.
